Community Football in Godmanchester

Godmanchester Town FC is a community focused youth football club providing inclusive, development led football opportunities for children and young people of all abilities.

Who We Are

Godmanchester Town FC is built on the principles of enjoyment, development, and inclusion. We believe football should be a positive experience for every child, delivered in a safe and supportive environment by committed volunteers and coaches. We work closely with parents, local partners, and the FA to ensure high standards of safeguarding, behaviour, and player welfare.

Our Teams and Pathways

Mini Soccer

A fun and friendly introduction to football for younger players.

Mini Soccer sessions run on Sunday mornings at Judith Fields and are open to children aged 4 to 8.

Sessions focus on confidence, basic skills, teamwork, and enjoyment, with a clear pathway into age group teams from Under 7s.

Youth Teams

Godmanchester Town FC runs youth teams from Under 7s through to Under 16s, competing in the Huntingdonshire Youth League and the Cambridgeshire District League.

We offer a mix of mixed and girls teams, with coaching focused on development, enjoyment, and positive team environments.

Wildcats

Girls only football delivered in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Wildcats sessions run on Sunday mornings at Judith Fields and are open to girls aged 5 to 11.

Sessions focus on confidence, skill development, and enjoyment, with opportunities to progress into girls teams as they develop.

Adult Football

In addition to our youth provision, Godmanchester Town FC also supports Ladies and Women’s Veterans football, providing opportunities for adult players to enjoy the game in a welcoming and community focused environment.

Safeguarding & Welfare

The safety and wellbeing of our players is our highest priority. Godmanchester Town FC operates in line with FA safeguarding policies and best practice. Our Welfare Officer is available to support players, parents, and volunteers, and clear procedures are in place for raising any concerns
